Grading system for Grades 10-12

Report Cards and Grades

One report card will be provided to students and parents. Qualicum School District uses the grading system recommended by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. Your reports will indicate grades in letters and in percentages, accompanied by written comments.

Successful completion of any course requires a minimum grade of 50% (C-). In Progress means that the student is making progress, but is having difficulty meeting learning outcomes. Additional study will be needed to successfully complete the course.
