Graduation and Prom are special events for grade 12 students in both Qualicum Beach and Parksville. International students completing grade 12 join in celebrations at either Ballenas or Kwalikum Secondary, which include a parade through town and a "red carpet" walk to the evening festivities.
Secondary (High) School
The two secondary or “high” schools of District 69 enjoy a tradition of academic excellence with a steady stream of graduates advancing annually, to post-secondary institutions in BC, other parts of Canada and the USA.
